EXCLUSIVE: Hawaii’s Civil Defense has asked residents to have a “Go Bag” packed and be prepared to evacuate if Mauna Loa, the world’s largest active volcano, erupts. Scientist claim an eruption isn’t imminent, but they are monitoring the volcano after a spike in earthquakes around the summit. Mauna Loa erupted last in 1984. However, Kilauea Volcano, which lies below Mauna Loa, has been spewing lava on the Big Island for the past 30-plus years.
